Well, my original plan as I type was to be writing more of my novel, The Fantastical Gregory Shortbread, and leaving this reveal until tomorrow. However, with my brain churning out nothing but a turgid mess, I decided to bring it forward. Recently I met up with my friend Anna and mentioned about how I go about creating a banner to take to signing events. With my first in Glasgow coming up, I really wanted to have something to take.
She agreed there and then to design it for me, which I wasn’t expecting, and she has come up with a great layout. So, without further ado, if you’re scouring signing events looking for yours truly, you won’t be able to miss me. Here it is:
I absolutely love it. It’s fun, colourful and will be instantly recognisable, not many other authors will have something quite like this. The sun blast behind the logo makes it pop when you see it in the flesh, and I love the added cloud detail. It’s also got a couple of funny quotes from the villagers, which you will be able to see closer in the gallery below.
I’ll have some exclusive news about signing events soon, but I hope you like it as much as I do. And I apologise for the stubble, I probably should have shaved when I got home from work!
